Below is a discussion I had with Ron and Christina Binaghi of Stokes Farm about a side of their business an average consumer doesn’t see and might not even consider: restaurant sourcing.
Q: Do you have all of the restaurants you source to listed on your website? Can you tell me…

Game Informer: “Resident Evil 4 HD Gameplay Footage Leaked?”, April 2nd, 2011
May or may not be legit, but either way it looks gorgeous. … Here’s hoping we get official word from Capcom about the video soon. In the meantime, drool over the footage below.
Game informer is tipped to a random YouTube video, fails to do any research, goes on to create erroneous story and looks like a bunch of asses.
No, the video linked to is not showing off Capcom’s recently announced RE4 HD, coming to XBLA and PSN this fall. It is showing the PC version from quite a few years ago, which features support for the Xbox 360 controller, and can be modded to display the appropriate button prompts.
They even go on to provide “some screen grabs of footage from the original and HD version of RE4 for comparison”, but manage to muck this up as well. The first screen labled as the ‘SD’ — ie: GameCube/PS2/Wii version — is the unpatched PC version from 2007, which launched with a notoriously shittacular graphics, specifically missing shadows and lighting. Quick and dirty links to NeoGAF for the evidence.
Had anyone at GI played the original game, and I’m sure they did, they would easily be able to tell even at a cursory glance that the original release didn’t look as horrid as that “SD” screen suggests. Even funnier is the fact that GI already posted screenshots of of the HD re-release, provided by Capcom last week, and they look nothing like this footage. Shocker!
Journalism.
Wow. This is just embarrassing.
We had a party last night for the girlie’s birthday.
Now we’re on our way to Disneyland. Normally I would bitch about this, but today I am psyched, because its my friend Alissa’s first time., so it should be more bearable than usual. We’ll see.
